My name is Olga. I also use the screen name Francheska. I am the one who is trying to translate the vast wealth of the Russian-speaking Streptocarpus forum into English. The task seems impossible for one person; however, my desire to share this info with my English-speaking friends is so great that I can't help but try. All videos was made by Pavel Enikeev. Pavel Enikeev is a founder of Dimetris and the main hybridizer of Streptocarpus varieties with prefix DS-. The translation will be somewhat interpretive. By that, I mean that I will translate Pavel's commentary, but will modify and add remarks to clarify things for an English-speaking audience. We will dedicate a separate thread to each translated video, so that everybody can ask questions or discuss the subject. Regards, Olga |
